Property and Vehicle Thefts Morayfield
It will be alleged between 1:20am and 6:30am several property offences were committed in the Caboolture and Morayfield areas by a group of teens on 12 January.
This includes damage to public property on Matthew Terrace, a business on Rowe Street, and attempted entry into parked vehicles near the business.
It will be further alleged a Morayfield Road, Morayfield business was broken into, and two vehicles parked nearby, stolen.
Around 6:30am one of the vehicles was located abandoned at the Murrumba Downs Railway Station.
Police attended Petrie Railway Station a short time later where three teens were taken into custody.
A 14-year-old girl from Caboolture and a 14-year-old boy from Bethania were charged with break and enter, receiving tainted property, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and two counts of attempted break and enter and wilful damage. They are due to appear in the Caboolture Childrens Court.
A 14-year-old Upper Caboolture boy was charged with two counts each of wilful damage, break and enter, attempted break and enter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle and receiving tainted property. His bail was objected to, he was remanded in custody, and he is due to appear in the Caboolture Childrens Court.
The second vehicle was located abandoned around 11:40am on Bisschop Street, Deception Bay.
Further investigations resulted in officers locating and charging a 13-year-old Bellmere boy later that day with three counts each of wilful damage, break and enter, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, and attempted break and enter. His bail was objected to, and he was remanded in custody and is due to appear in the Caboolture Childrens Court.
