Virtual Sports Coming Soon to Sports Central Caboolture

Updated: Apr 1, 2022

Sports Central Caboolture has today announced it will be opening a new outlet in early December.

Play It Central will be an interactive and virtual sporting offering that includes three (3) state of the art golf simulators, two (2) racing car simulators, arcade games, cafe and bar. This will be the first of its kind in Caboolture and Morayfield Region.

Members and guests will be able to choose to virtually play at hundreds of golf courses around the world including Augusta National Park, Pebble Beach and Saint Andrews, just to name a few.

If there’s a need for speed, racing car simulators will take members and guests to world renowned race tracks like Mt Panorama, Philip Island Circuit, Circuit de Monaco, and more.

Play It Central will also have a selection of pinball arcade games.

Extensive renovations are currently underway on level one of Sports Central. The refurbishment, fit out and purchase of interactive equipment will be in the vicinity of $1 million.

“We’re focused on delivering a unique and fun experience at Sports Central. That’s why we’ve partnered with GolfSim Australia and SimworX Race Simulators to bring the highest quality offering to Play It Central,” commented Ben Connors, Venue & Culture Manager at Sports Central.

Play It Central will feature two (2) SimworX Race Simulators which have been custom built and manufactured in Australia. SimworX Race Simulators are the provider of the most extreme state of the art motorsport simulators with professional racing controls that blur the line between virtual and reality.

“Professional race car drivers use these simulators, you can’t get any better than that,” commented Ben Connors, Venue & Culture Manager at Sports Central.

Play It Central will also feature three (3) state of the art golf simulators from GolfSim Australia providing a realistic, fast and fun golf experience. Advanced technology captures carry distance, backspin, ball launch angle plus shows the ball travel on screen with no delay.

“Golfers will love it, and I think non-golfers will be surprised just how much fun it is.”

“Stay dry in the rain or beat the heat this summer, come play a round of golf in the air conditioned comfort of Play It Central”

Play It Central will be opening in early December 2021 with bookings opening soon.
