The Mini Farm Project's Giving Circle

The Giving Circle program is designed to address this challenge and restore trust by offering financial transparency to donors.

The Mini Farm Project is proud to unveil its innovative Giving Circle program, aimed at revolutionising the charity sector and providing financial transparency to donors. This ground breaking initiative empowers donors by involving them directly in the organisation's activities and making them an integral part of the Mini Farm Project's mission.

In response to the growing scepticism among Australians towards donating to charities, fuelled by instances of funding misuse and unfulfilled promises, The Mini Farm Project's Founder recognised the need for change.

The Giving Circle program is designed to address this challenge and restore trust by offering financial transparency to donors. By embracing technology of the day to minimising administrative expenses, The Mini Farm Project has transformed into a remote charity organisation centred around each charity farm.

The Giving Circle operates as a subscription-based donation program, inviting donors to contribute a minimum of $3.70 per month to fund the establishment of charity farms. The unique offering to donors includes financial transparency within the program, the opportunity to vote on the development of future farms, and exclusive access to live-streamed operations meetings. By attracting 100,000 individuals to donate $3.70 each month, the Giving Circle aims to generate $370,000 per month, funding the planning and delivery of a new charity farm every month.

“We believe that transparency and donor engagement are essential to regain trust in the charity sector.

With one in five households now going hungry each day, The Mini Farm offers a solution to the shortfall of food reaching the most vulnerable.

With its ambitious goal to develop 100 farms from Coolangatta to Cairns, The Mini Farm Project aspires to become one of Queensland's largest food relief programs. The number of farms developed will be based on the number of donors, demonstrating the program's commitment to meeting the growing demand for food relief and combating hunger in our State.

"We believe that transparency and donor engagement are essential to regain trust in the charity sector," said Nick Steiner, Founder of The Mini Farm Project (pictured).

"Through the Giving Circle program, we empower donors to make a direct and impactful contribution to our cause, transforming the way charity is perceived and practiced."
