Help Solve Caboolture Robbery

Police are investigating the robbery of a tobacconist in Caboolture last week.

Around 6.45am police were called to an Argyll Street business on Friday January 13 where a man wearing a mask threatened a female employee who attempted to flee, before he grabbed her and a violent struggle ensued.

The woman was able to break free and ran to safety, however she sustained lacerations to her arm and face, requiring treatment in hospital.

The man stole a sum of money from the till and a quantity of cigarettes and fled on foot west along Argyll Street.

The man was wearing a brown halloween mask, ‘DriRider’ brand jacket, blue jeans, brown work boots, black gloves and an orange hi-vis shit. He was carrying a red ‘Mickey Mouse’ branded Christmas bag and a red ‘Bunnings’ branded umbrella. He is approximately 185cm tall and has a fair complexion.

Anyone with information on the robbery, or who many know the man’s identity is urged to come forward. Anonymous reports can be made.

Businesses, motorists and homeowners in the area are urged to check CCTV and dashcam footage
