Chinese-Inspired Event for Chinese New Year

After a sell-out event in 2019, North Lakes Sports Club’s Asian-inspired buffet dinner is returning on Friday 31st January in celebration of Chinese New Year.

The event features a range of delicious buffet options including dumplings, spring rolls, sweet and sour pork in conjunction with other Chinese-Asian delicacies.

“Our Chinese New Year Buffet Dinner was such a success last year we had to bring it back,” commented Mr Larkin, Venue Manager.

“This year, we even have special lion dancers to entertain event attendees throughout the night.”

Local lion dancers, from Red Dragon Martial Arts based in Morayfield, will perform this traditional Chinese dance along to epic drum rhythms to bring about good fortune and prosperity as part of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

Tickets are on sale for this oriental dining experience at the club starting at $30 for adults and $10 for children 3 to 12 years in age.

The two-course buffet dinner commences from 6pm on 31st January and leads into the $5,000 Dragon Luck promotion from 7.30pm for members.

“We also have our Friday Night Mega Raffles from 7pm with over $1,200 worth of meat trays, Coles Myer gift cards and cash up for grabs!” added Mr Larkin.
