Caboolture Sports Club Support Local Producers

CSC Group, working closely with Moreton Bay Regional Industry & Tourism and the Food & Agribusiness Network, are hosting three Tastes of Moreton Bay events this week in efforts to showcase what growers, farmers, and producers are championing in our region.

With the recent COVID-19 lockdown having a devastating impact on Tastes of Moreton Bay and Caboolture Festival events, most notably the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival, this is an incredible opportunity for the community to rally behind Moreton Bay producers.

The first event is a breakfast bringing together those connected to Moreton Bay agribusiness including producers, industry representatives, government dignitaries at all levels, selected CSC Group members, and senior management from the CSC Group.

The menu will feature produce grown in Moreton Bay, all whilst hearing from keynote speakers including Kelvin Patch (CEO CSC Group & Chair Regional Development Australia Moreton Bay), Tony Clarke (Sports & Community Manager), Emma Greenhatch (CEO Food & Agribusiness Network) and Nick Steiner (CEO The Mini Farm Project).

On Saturday 14th August the Club opens its door at 10am to farmers and producers in Moreton Bay to join them for free and hold a stall at the Meet me at the Bay Markets. It is also free for the public to attend, able to purchase incredible products whilst supporting these locals. You can find out more information here:

Producers hosting a stall at this community initiative include Luvaberry, Little White Goat, Hive Haven, Copper & Cane Distillery, Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism, QCamel, Hum Honey, Platinum Florals, The Mini Farm Project, Blue Dog Farm, Leesa’s Little Farm, Tin Shed Farm, Bribie Oysters, Chilli Coffee Australia, and My Dillybag.

A cooking presentation with Head Chef, Brian Stott, and Dale from My Dillybag will be a real highlight of the event, demonstrating how Indigenous produce can be utilised in various dishes.

“We are so pleased to be able to offer these events for the Moreton Bay community and support the Tastes of Moreton Bay Festival and efforts of Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism,” commented James Goodrich, Group Loyalty Manager.

“During the pandemic and beyond people really heroed local. Events like these where we can celebrate our region are fantastic, and we look forward to seeing the community support these local producers!”

Following the market, Copper & Cane and Caboolture Sports Club are hosting Brushes, Barrels, & Bites. This is a unique take on a Paint & Sip event, showcasing spirits inspired by the botanicals of Moreton Bay. You can find out more information and purchase tickets here:
