With two sold out Melbourne Cup events, raffles, sweeps & all the live action on the screens around the club, North Lakes Sports Club is certainly the place to be this Melbourne Cup.
“The Club’s annual Melbourne Cup Seafood Luncheon & Melbourne Cup Banyan Luncheon events sold out in record timing this year, said Mr Patch, Group CEO.
“The two events have received phenomenal feedback over the past two years and this year will be no exception with our events team going above & beyond to impress ticket holders.
“The Seafood Luncheon in the Discovery Lounge will feature a tasty two-course buffet lunch, three hour premium beverage package, photo booth, live entertainment by John Reid and extravagant decorations.
“Our Banyan Luncheon will showcase a three-course lunch, glass of sparkling on arrival & one free sweep ticket.
“If you missed out on tickets to these two fantastic events, no need to worry we have plenty of other Melbourne Cup festivities happening around the club”.
The Club will be opening early on Melbourne Cup from 9am for punters to come in early and place their bets. For those with little TAB or racing knowledge the Club will also feature a betting help station in the Sports Bar for members & guests to seek advice.
All the race day action will be broadcasted live throughout the club with over a dozen TV screens positioned around the Club for convenient watching.
The club will also be hosting a special Melbourne Cup day raffle with some fantastic prizes up for grabs including various hamper prizes and beer & wine packs. Tickets will go on sale from 9am with draws from 1pm. Sweeps in $1, $2, & $5 amounts will also be on sale from 9am.
Members & guests can also enjoy a tasty lunch or dinner from the Crave Café or Banyan Restaurant. Bookings are encouraged for the Banyan Restaurant.
The Club’s courtesy bus will also be running throughout the day for members who wish to make it a full day event. Members are encouraged to phone ahead for courtesy bus bookings.
Following the races, the Club will also be hosting their weekly $3,000 Members Night from 5pm. Members will have the chance to win a share in over $1,000 worth of raffle prizes, $1,000 in members draws & $1,000 Cash Wheel gaming promotion.
