Melbourne Cup will be broadcast live at Caboolture Sports Club on Tuesday 5th November, with two major events and club-wide activities for members and guests to enjoy.
The popular Seafood Luncheon returns to The Grevillea Room as does the Garden Party in the fully-enclosed and air-conditioned Terrace.
“Our buffet Luncheon features a delicious selection of fresh and cooked seafood, dessert buffet, live entertainment by local artist Tracy Vaughan, fashions on the field, and a glass of champagne and free sweep ticket on arrival,” commented Mr Lancaster, General Manager.
“In our Terrace Garden Party, members & guests will enjoy live entertainment from our resident DJ, tasty canapés, drink on arrival and all the live-action on the big screen.
“We’ll also be running a club-wide competition in the Tempo Lounge & Bar for members and guests who want to strut their stuff for great prizes.”
Seafood Luncheon tickets are from just $70 per person for the decadent two-course buffet lunch and are perfect for those looking for the full Melbourne Cup experience.
For those looking for a more relaxed Cup day option, Mr Lancaster said the club’s Garden Party event in The Terrace will fit the bill from just $25 per person. The club will be opening early on Melbourne Cup from 9am for members & guests to get in early to put on their bets.
The club will also be running a special Melbourne Cup raffle with tickets on sale from 9am and draws from 1pm with 13 great prizes up for grabs.
Sweeps in $1, $2 or $5 values can also be purchased on the day from 9am and all the Melbourne Cup action will be live on the big screens around the club for members and guests to enjoy.
