Councillor for Division 1 Brooke Savige said when complete, the Sandstone Point Community and Sports Complex Master Plan would consider residents’ ideas.
“We’re seeking ideas on how we can better support the current and future uses of this popular facility,” she said.
“We will be holding a public consultation session next month to provide opportunity for the community to help shape the future use of the site.
“It’s important to update sporting infrastructure as our community grows, to keep pace with the demand of future generations.
“I’m passionate about providing opportunities for locals to get outdoors and lead a healthy and active life.
“The Sandstone Point Community and Sports Complex is already well utilised by a number of sporting and community groups and the site is only going to grow in popularity as more people move to our region.
“So now is your time to let us know what you think of the site and whether you think it needs improvements so we can provide the best sports and recreation facilities for current and future residents alike.”
Have your say on the Sandstone Point Community and Sports Complex.
